Sleepless in Brisbane

I was woken this morning by the sound of traffic and pouring rain. I tried to ignore it and go back to sleep. My bladder made this impossible.

I got up and went to the loo. It was bucketing down outside. It was also 5am.

I climbed back into bed and tried to find the land of slumber. I am a crap navigator.

So here I am at ten to six, writing on my blog. I decided now would be a good time to make a start on catching up the last few weeks. It seems I am always playing catch-up with this thing. But there have been so many newsworthy stories!! I guess the end of the year is always a busy time. So I will try to be as succinct as possible and we'll see how it goes...
